I'd much rather have Martinez. Nothing against Penix but I like Martinez's film better. I think he would succeed in this offense.

If you would bother to check what you espouse as the truth based upon something some random poster said or something in some thread you think that you might remember, you might not get crucified quite so much.

Urban coached at ND with my godfather, they talk regularly and they're both QB/Offense obsessed, Urban actually adopted the athletic QB preference after seeing the success my uncle had as the OC for McNabb/Graves and setting a few offensive records with awful QBs that could move a bit at ND. People mocked him for leaving Florida, but that guys blood pressure on game day is twice as likely to kill a man as ole butchies. He's a disaster (emotionally) on game day and he's failed to develop his QBs but he can obviously sell. He's got awards in his office for things he's done to changes NCAA rules in aid of allowing families to get to games, he sells himself as someone who puts his job on the line for the parents of his guys and it works, he takes credit for changes in rules and makes his own awards to show them. Interesting fella.
