They didn’t sign. Because they BLUESHIRTED. You out of the country on NSD?

They signed and submitted their papers. Both had signing ceremonies.
VN even has threads from them as signees.

Ceremonies without an actual LOI. You notice Pruitt avoided questions about them? Jashon Robertson, Joe Oliver, Jacquez Bruce all had ceremonies...and threads. PWO’s do also. They show up for Fall camp and receive their scholarship. THAT’s blueshirting. Them being REJECTED would’ve made the rounds on here, VQ, 247, hell...even SEC Country.

I was going on what Norwood said on his pinned tweet where he is pictured signing

They were not announced as part of this class, they are being blueshirted.

Yes I know. All I am saying is Norwood is still saying he is signed. I believe he signed and sent it and UT then told him he was a blue shirt.

Oh! We could have cleared that up for you quickly. You’re wrong.

Winning 7-9 games this yr will have a bigger impact to the team, fans and future recruiting classes than worrying about 1-2 spots. It's also a critical year to set your culture. He is creating competion at spots that seemingly don't have much.

Instead of JG cruising into season as starter he has to work his butt off to win job.

Instead of chandler and Jordan cruising to plenty of carries they now have to step their game up.

We don't even have this guy yet and you still have to beat the home team in LSU. We need CBs period

We need OL even worse

We will be lucky to win 1 sec game and 5 game's total.

Wrong. We have plenty of talent and much better coaches. These 4 or 5 win predictions are going to be way off this fall. 7-5 at worst. Pruitt’s going to show us all just how much talent was wasted.

I hope you are right. I have big concerns about OL and Defensive front 7 in a 3-4 set. If Pruitt does accomplish what you predict, then he should be a unanimous choice for coach of the year.

I appreciate that several posters like to convince themselves and others of our good/great talent level. Its just not true. Maybe in a few spots, but overall, it's lacking. It's going to take a few years to get to a level with the better teams.

We absolutely have enough talent to beat WVU, ETSU, UTEP, UF, USC, Charlotte, Mizzou, UK and Vandy. Might not win them all but 7/9 isn’t crazy talk.

We won 4 last year with the same talent and a mostly hack coaching staff that had basically thrown in the towel. 6 wins probably the floor but 7 or 8 wins would not shock me. The 4 OOC games should be wins. Plus KY and Vandy. SC and Mizzou are in play as well. The main difference we will see is the level of toughness and lack of quit our boys will have this fall.

I hope you're right, but I see 4 or 5 wins out of that group.

I think Pruitt will eventually get UT to a 8/9 win level in a few years.

Biggest reason I think 5 wins is the ceiling is the lack of talent at the most important spot - QB

QB is fine. We suck in the trenches. That’s why making a bowl game will be tough this year

This year will be pretty much determined by our OL.

I second this. What is crazy is while everyone talks about what if Smith, Hall, Niehaus, & Calbert aren't healthy, or if the JC kid isn't ready, the same can be said what if they all are ready to go?

It could go really bad or really good for us, but we are all going to have to wait and see.

Yeah, I agree. I think the defense will be ok. Not great, but good enough to keep us close against pretty much everyone on the schedule outside of Bama, UGA, and maybe Auburn (never know what you're going to get with them) and WVU (also a tough team to predict but one I think many people on here are underestimating). On offense, we have some intriguing players at the skill positions. The glaring question mark is O-line. I could see us cobbling together a decent unit if we stay relatively healthy and everything falls into place. I could also see it being a complete train wreck from start to finish.

We already have two players from the 2018 class blueshirting...Norwood and Davis. Chryst and London took the last two spots available 22nd and 23rd which was the number of our class after Wiggins and a blueshirt from last season. We’re down to 23 next class if both Norwood and Davis report...every graduate transfer knocks that number down further.

If someone does not get in, then would that adjust those numbers? If we have academic non-qualifiers from this class, then those do not count against the 25, correct?
