I really believe this is Pruitt’s high school connections paying off. Finding Jordan Young has me convinced for now.

I want to be. There are just a bunch of conflicting reports about the top guys. Simmons thinks we land Copeland and Walker, VQ guys throw water on that fire. Moore isn’t going to visit. Hubbs doesn’t think Miller flips. Bama 247 thinks Smith is a lock to them. Most people don’t think Griffin is leaving California.

I hope they’re all wrong and we get them all!

walker and griffin. feel pretty good there, not "100", as they say....but good.

I’m ready for it to be here. Hope they do a signing day celebration. That’s one thing I liked from the Butch era

Well we certainly can’t and won’t land them all. Win some, lose some. That’s recruiting. This class will still close strong and we should all be very happy with what Pruitt and co are doing right now.

Remember, this staff hasn’t been in place very long, and with the new early signing day, over 2/3 of the kids have already signed. Much smaller pond to fish in to finish the class. ‘19 and ‘20 classes are where we’ll see how good these guys can really recruit.

i'm sure there'll be a lot of coverage. no idea if UT and the staff will do a full on production like CBJ did. my gut says they won't. doesn't strike me as the type that "needs" that.

Exactly. This class won’t make or break this football program. Pruitt and company have proven that they’re top tier recruiters, and national reporters have picked up on that and more importantly, recruits have too.

Pruitt’s sold me on his ability to recruit, now it’s just a matter of it translating in numbers and I’m fully confident it will next year. All that’s left is to see him on the field.
