'18 FL QB Michael Penix Jr.

The higher Penix rises in the rankings the less likely we keep him, me thinks. I was happy to have him fly under the radar. Looks like the cat is out of the bag.

doubtful. we took him as our first qb, while the higher ranked one was in town. pretty clear we want him, and pretty sure FSU already offered so I don't think the dream offer is floating out there now that wasnt there before.

No coach has ever given a .... about woody wommacks rankings. These people don't have any idea as to what they're doing, Friedman and Woody are perverts, not scouts. They move guys on offers, that's 98% of it. Martinez doesn't have new Jr film, he has big offers. Davis is a Bama commit, so he's awesome now. They deny ranking players on offers, but if they actually ranked guys independently there would be top 250 guys who end up at small schools just like there are top draft picks from small schools. They'll never be right on a guy the big schools miss on, they don't have any trust in their ability, and they shouldn't, but they pretend to.

So he wasn't a take before even though he's the same exact player but because some nerds who probably never played the game now say he's a4* he's good enuf for you...got it.

The Ohio State Buckeyes and USF Bulls came together in Tampa, FL on Saturday to hold a satellite camp. There were close to 400 recruits in attendance, and Urban Meyer was there along with most of his coaching staff.

One of the players that OSU kept a close eye on during the camp was Tampa Bay (FL) Tech quarterback and Tennessee Volunteer commitment Michael Penix. Buckeyes assistant Ryan Day worked one-on-one with Penix, putting him through drills and working on his technique.

It's nice that our recruits are getting some attention from big programs. It proves that our coaches can identify the talent. I hope we can hold on to this young man.

This staff does a great job identifying and offering talent earlier than most power 5 schools.

Yes they do. But if OSU flips Penix, I am going up to Columbus and kicking Urban's ass. Really tho, I like Penix, but not as much as Martinez. So Urban, stay the hell away from Cali and Adrian

You could probably get some people to go along with you on that trip to Columbus.
