'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

Just imagine Jennings, Callaway, Byrd, Taylor and Copeland all rotating in? We would have the potential to be #WRU again! I believe Copeland would be our number one, along side Taylor, his sophomore year, after Jennings leaves! I Love it! It's starting to feel great to be a Vol again!!!

Need Byrd as a db imo

I am just asking wondering if there has been a report or if Pruitt has said as much.

Pruitt hasn’t really commented on current players. His corners are big. This makes too much sense.

Sure would have been nice to have been able to hang onto Copeland. Would of been even nicer to hang on to Jamar Chase he will be a monster if he goes to TCU

Can’t believe Mcelwaine had 2 of the best WRs in the country committed lol he actually started to recruit at a high level but was a blind as **** when it came to Nussmier. Every gator fan in the country knew he should of been fired before year 3

If things went well this season he might of actually signed Barnes, NPF. and Gouriage too

No love for Brandon Johnson our leading receiver? I think he was one of our most consistent receivers. Also don't sleep on Palmer, he played a lot as a true freshman. I think in a few more years with the right development he could be really good.

my hope (emphasis on hope) is that Palmer makes the leap that josh smith did from his freshman to sophomore year. Smith couldn't catch a cold 1st year then 2nd he was one of our more reliable guys when not injured.

Palmer seems to get open quite a lot, hopefully with some coaching he can begin to start reeling the catches in next season. Not giving up on him just yet, but he's got a long ways to go.

I know I was rambling thinking about how much of moron Mac was and how he blew up what could of been his first truly great class. Still couldn’t be happier he’s gone

Good luck on Copeland but I’ll say this he seems to wanna to play with a stud quarterback that he believes will be able to get him the ball not sure Tenn has anybody he believes in right now but would make landing him incredibly impressive by Pruitt and staff

Also kind of weird he hasn’t given FSU the time of day being in the panhandle and having Francois back next year

Johnson was a very bright spot for us last season. He turned out to be our most consistent receiver. He looked very good, even with us playing up to 5 freshmen on the OL late in the season.

Could be wrong and obviously nothing official has been released, but hints have been made of a Byrd to DB move on the horizon..... you know his more natural position.

I haven't heard of any indications of him being switched to defense, but I agree that he should be. I just wonder what his input would be.

Don’t count out Guarantano yet, son.

It's all good man. I agree with what you said about Johnson though. He can really catch the ball. The thing about Palmer is he could get separation and get open for the long ball, but just had several drops. Not unexpected from a true freshman though.

Ideally I'd like to have both Jennings and Callaway on the outside and then have Johnson in the slot with DWA at TE. That's a lot of targets for whoever is our QB!

I agree with your assessment of Jennings and Calloway on the outside, but I'd rather have Taylor (yes a true freshman) in the slot. I think he will be very special. I also agree that Johnson is solid, but he dropped too many balls. You're definitely higher on him than I am.

That kinda sounds like if he gets an FSU offer he might listen. How does Taggart not contact him?
