So, if they talked during Christmas (and everyday for that matter) that means Copeland has the be calling CJP, correct?

Jacob Copeland, a former Florida commit says the schools in the mix to land his commitment are the Gators, Tennessee and Alabama, but an upcoming visit to Texas A&M may allow the Aggies to push their way into the mix.

Copeland will visit Texas A&M on Jan. 20, Alabama on Jan. 26 and Florida on the final visit weekend before his signing day announcement. Tennessee is the newcomer to the top of Copeland’s recruitment. And while the Vols will have an uphill battle to topple the Gators and Tide, the Florida-based wideout seems to be growing more and more fond of Jeremy Pruitt’s program.

“My visit to Tennessee was much love,” Copeland said. “I knew most of the staff already. It was good. They showed me around. I really felt like I could do my three or four years out there in Tennessee.”

Insight from the Gator board is they see Bama as the biggest threat currently which I think personally is misguided and switched to the Vols. Relationship with Pruitt is huge. It s humorous because all the commentary is Emory and Copeland are very close...comical how each side only plays up there strong points and naive to others.

I appreciate the insight. I actually like Mullen and was pretty excited when he seemed a possible replacement for Jones. He'll do well with QB's at UF, but one area the Mullen/Gonzales/Meyer coaching tree hasn't produced as well at is WR. Hopefully Copeland takes notice of that.
