Copeland, a former UF commit, took an official visit to Tennessee a couple weeks ago, and sources tell VolQuest.com that the Vols currently like their chances to land the blue-chip wideout on National Signing Day.

Alabama, Florida and FSU remain in the hunt, too, but Tennessee definitely made a move with its visit. Can the Vols close the deal?

We know that Tae's working on Copeland, and if the deal gets closed, he may very well be the one who does it.

If I was recruiting for UT, anytime I sat down with a young man I was recruiting for WR, I would always have my laptop handy so I could pull up the article on Shrout where the NFL scouts and former NFL QBs were gushing over how he already looks to be more NFL ready than most of the other top QBs in this class.

I would assume that is what the staff will be doing anyway, considering that they can't really point to any of the current QBs on the roster and expect to excite elite WRs.

Need to get a visit from him first don’t think he’s been on campus since Mullen was hired. I would guess Bama of UT

At least they landed 2 stud transfers after losing Copeland and Chase

Personally I enjoy other fans perspectives, especially when they have been around for a while and don't come just to troll. In this case they've both been around for 8 years, and may throw some jabs but have always been pretty respectful. Maybe that's just me though.

“When Pruitt took that job at Tennessee, that made (them equal) to me,” Copeland said Saturday at the check-in for the Under Armour All-American Game.

“Alabama was my leader. Yea. Because of Pruitt. Knowing that he recruited me since freshman year and we built up a good relationship. He was one of the main coaches who stayed on staff and always recruited me.”

No longer a ghost, we got to catch up with the 4-star receiver tonight down in Orlando. Copeland raved about Pruitt, said Jeremy has recruited him since the 9th grade. They talked on Christmas. Copeland and his family loved their OV to Knoxville. Tennessee is a real factor, but Copeland has visits scheduled to Texas A&M, Alabama and UF (with the Gators getting the final visit).

Copeland will make his final decision on N
