I get your perspective but I've never been in Copelands shoes so I can't judge him.
Thanks for getting it. I did not intend to come across all judgemental on Copeland. Sure, recruits get pulled hard in different directions, and the decision is important. I was just trying to say that he is in a very good position. If he is good, he'll make it, wherever he goes. Hope he works hard and enjoys the experience.
Don't see it as a crying occasion. If he likes the players and the coaches, how far wrong can he go? Afghanistan? No.
He's a kid. And there can be a lot of pressure from friends and family members, people the kid loves. Being torn between people he really cares about can really affect a person, especially a kid.
It's a good time to turn to the Lord, to try for inner peace.
HubbsTuesday thoughts Copeland tweeted on Tuesday morning that he cried Monday night trying to come to a final decision. Does Alabama have room for Copeland? It seems unlikely but that depends on how they finish on Wednesday. Is Copeland going to stay home? Florida got the last visit and has regained momentum with Copeland, who was a one time Gator commit. Of all the coaches recruiting the receiver, Copeland has the best relationship with Jeremy Pruitt, but the common sense selection here is Florida. Then again, the last month hasn't made much sense in his recruitment.
I dont remember many that said he couldnt recruit. Just that hes not elite. Hes getting way too much props for Emory Jones. Jones was once way ahead of Fields and has regressed considerably. He was an afterthought to Ohio State by the end...hence the flip. Mullen basically beat out Taggart due to him being a renowned QB whisperer. I didnt want Jones for us, even when we ran a compatible system.
