'18 FL WR Jacob Copeland (Florida signee)

UGA just lost a yr and a half ago to Vandy and beat the worst team in FCS by 1 at home. And lost 2 of 3 to UT. Its amazing what 1 great season will do. We need something to happen badly. 1 season changes everything.

UGA has had 4 top 10 classes in a row and now adding this year's #1.

i think they're going to be ok.

2014..8
2015...6
2016..6
2017...3
2018...1

yeah it was a great season, but they'd been building toward it, and now they're building on top of it.

and that's not to be gloom and doom here, just saying, those "great" seasons typically don't "just happen out of nowhere". CKS was a bit lucky so many of the upperclassmen stuck around last year...but make no mistake, UGA has always recruited at a high level. and CKS has taken it up a notch from there.

Copeland is going to sign with UGA.

As a matter of fact, every top recruit left to announce is going to UGA. A hidden NCAA rule allows a head coach who sports a 1990s bowl hair cut to sign 50 prospects per class.

Exactly. Was it disrespectful absolutely, but if TN was still a feared and respected school that would never have happened, but when you lose to vandy and Kentucky thats going to happen

That's not true. I've seen it happen to Ala, LSU, Au, Ga etc. Happens to respected schools all the time. He did it to TN which will be one of his biggest rivals and plays every year. If Fla had been a finalist instead of us he would have done it to them. It's really not that big of a deal. He's an 18 yr old HS kid. Let our players make him pay for it on the field.

Yeah because when our team is getting smashed 50-0 they have any right to do anything.

Would love to get him to go with Justin Watkins and Kyle Pitts but honestly with the transfers we got in Trevon Grimes and Van Jefferson I think we can afford a miss and it wouldn’t hurt too bad at all but that don’t mean it still wouldn’t royally suck losing him to Bama who makes what I think is a pretty great group of pass catchers at UF look like dog **** lol and losing him to UT would suck even worse honestly since you need him far more but would have to give Pruitt serious credit for that one

But if UF gets him wow

WR
Jacob Copeland - 97 in composite
Justin Watkins - 96 in composite

TE Kyle Pitts - 94 in composite could be a Corn Ingram, Ben Troupe, Jordan Reed type

Transfer Trevon Grimes 98 composite in 2017 class not likely to play this year imo

Transfer Van Jefferson 95 composite has very good shot to play in 2018 and potentially a big part in pass game with 1000 yards to his name at OM think he could have a monster year really and go pro after one year his pops was a beast in the league and now coaches dolphins WRs and they all say he’s as a good a route runner as they’ve seen just had 2 freaks ahead of him at OM

Get Copeland and WOW Mullen will have more fire power on offense then he could of ever dreamed of at MSU

Well that’s my half drunken rant with absolutely no punctuation

need a QB as most schools do.

Not sure what losing 50-0 and a rival committ throwing a Vol hat has any connection whatsoever. Especially when its HS kids who aren't even in college yet. You honestly think that a kid considers what happened the prior yea,r at a school he's never even suited up for into his announcement decision making? My money is on him probably not basing his actions on that.

Emory Jones says hi

Besides, with Mullen as HC that's probably the position UF fans don't have to worry about

is that like when JG said hi? or when Franks said hi? or Malik Zaire? or Jacob Eason? emory jones cant throw well enough for it to matter with all those wrs

he can sure run though.

Bad day for the gators?

Ehh not really least not yet

Getting **** faced just makes nsd fun esp when it kind of kicks off when u just get off work and are ready to drink

Langham and Copeland would make today great oh yea and hanging onto Gouriage

Also losing on NPF stung but then I remember Jean Who transfered

Who could have major potential rated 95 in composite in 16 class

Jean Delance, Florida, Offensive Tackle
