'18 GA CB Jaycee Horn

He could have not made it in for any number of reasons, but it does seem a touch funny that we found out earlier this week he was coming and then doesn't show 72 hours later. Just feels strange.

Hopefully, Joe and JayCee drive up themselves and make it by 3 pm and then get the "We want and need u, tour". If not, I bet UT has a damn good back-up plan

If they do make it in or don't make it in has, in my opinion, no bearing on what his final decision will be.

It simply means there was no reason for him to try and get another unofficial visit in prior to the month long dead period.

As for backup plans, I am sure they have other CB's on the board, Trey Dean being one of them. Relax, this is not a disaster.

Question, since he was in Knoxville, is it possible that he never intended to visit this weekend, just as Callahan said on Thursday? Could it also be that Price and Horn had a mis-communication? I would imagine that with the number of calls and questions Horn gets on a daily basis, this is more than likely.

That is absolutely possible. Not saying anything fishy is happening for sure. Just thought it was interesting.

All the recruiting services can do is go on what a kid tells them.

Volquest has always been better but they absolutely owned 247 since the Haney article. 247 might as well not exist in this market. They are complete 💩.

Didn't Callahan say he wasn't coming in and Austin Price said he was? Days after, right. lol

Lol this must've been your first go round following VQ and 247 then. Hubbs is top dog and his crew is head above heels better

This. I can think of two times that Callahan was right and Hubbs and co. were wrong, and that's this visit and Tee Higgins. That's literally it. VQ is far and away the best in the biz. And as far as 247, well as they say, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

It's not my first go round. I use to be a member of Volquest, but I think they lost something when Fort left. I think they are much better than 247 overall I'm just not a Hubbs fanboy like some on here.

That team of Hubbs, Lewis, Brice, Price, and Fortenberry was as good as it gets. Obviously, Brice and Fort are big losses, hopefully Simonton turns out to be pretty good. I'm no longer there, but it has nothing to do with them. I left because every time a poster would share something they knew or heard, others would fall on them like a pack of jackals until they ran them off, so I said I'm not paying for this. Hubbs is probably privy to more info than anyone else in he media, but it seems that info usually comes from the program side while the rest of his crew seemed to focus more on the prospect side. I can't think of anybody that's broken more Vol-related news than him over the last 15 years or so, but if you get hung up on things like grammar and well-edited articles, he's probably not for you.
