I said he had first round talent. And still does. Not many guys have his combination of size, length, and athleticism.

With that said, a player needs to play up to those physical tools and to this point Justin Martin hasn't. Hopefully he can put it together.

In the real world he is an extreme liability who hasnt even flashed 6th round talent yet.

If Justin Martin somehow convinced an NFL GM to take him in the 1st rd, it would be one of the biggest frauds in NFL history. Kid has a 10 cent brain, and maybe a 57 cent body based on what I've seen. I hear all this talk about his athleticism and physical tools, but I have NEVER seen it on display. You can keep saying it, but you've never seen evidence of it either. Right now, 1st rd Justin Martin is as evident as Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy.

There is a difference between having 1st round measurables (speed and size) and having 1st round talent. Yes, Martin has 1st round measurables for a CB, but not the talent.

This is where you realize you can't have a rational discussion about a player's talent because some posters (oh you know who you guys are) don't understand that football is not track and field. There are skills REQUIRED to be good at football that go beyond....me run fast....me bench press big weights.
