I do not know how to make it more clear. I just happened to make that statement in this thread. As Butchna said, I just picked wrong thread to make this opinion, because he does have good offers and good tape. I should have picked thread that most everyone else was wondering why we offered. It has nothing to do with my personal assessment of him, or if I value recruiting sites more than coaches. I noticed he was a "3 star" and just posted in his thread because of the number of "3 stars" we have been getting. As I said, I tend to look more at offers than stars, but at same time I think you do not want too many "3 star" or lower ranked in a class because sites are not that off on ranking imo. Imo, I would it is probably not a good idea to have more than 1 out of 5 recruits in a class "3 star" or lower. Now, I know some will get a bump in ranking, so there is that I guess, but you should get what I am saying. I am not one who thinks just recruit 4 and 5 stars, because I know some guys are underrated or are a great role player that are not ranked that high, but at same time teams that win national championships tend to have high percentage of "4" and "5" star players.

VolnPowell I would absolutely love for us to recruit like that. But so would every other team in America.

4 out of 5 players being **** & ***** to *** or less

If we had a 25 recruit class we would have:

20 EA **** & ***** with only 5 EA *** or less.

The Buckeyes and the U may do it this year and maybe Bama later, but do you know how hard it is to hit that. That is why the OSU recruiting class is being discussed so much right now. I think you should look at your ratio and be a little more realistic in the numbers. I would love to see CBJ achieve it but I think it is a little unrealistic.

I thought I read that if we took Griffin that Anderson would be a lock as well. Has that changed?

Noticed Jesse mentioned today on the VQ that he thinks there is a very good chance both Chatman and Dixon will get bumped to 4-stars come Fall.

These guys may wait to commit then it seems like once you commit its harder to get a bump.
