SC is gonna get exposed. They had an inflated record due to wins over horrible UT and UF teams. Wouldn’t be surprised if they went 5-7 next year.

Roper held them back this year. McClendon is the wildcard. Their WR core is the most talented in the SEC imo. Muschamp will always have a serviceable defense

I was right about them tho. Said they would be good and they went 9-3. I was wrong about the offense being good but that’s because Kurt Roper was their version of butch. Like I said McClendon is a huge wild card. If he’s bad their gonna suck but he’s got a lot of playmakers. Going to be interesting to watch

They won 9 and absolutely sucked but so did the entire east besides one team. Spurrier had good usce teams. Butch was one play away from beating them. Any other coach would have. They are the worse 9 win team I have ever seen out of the SEC.

9-4 and lost to every good team they played plus Kentucky. But that isn’t the point anyway. The point was that you are their white night.

If they were going to suck, then I would have no problem calling them out. All my friends are Sc fans so I hear the buzz about their team all the time. It’s weird that a perspective of another program so profoundly offends you and others. Also they would have won more games if Kurt Roper wasn’t a butch jones. He scored the least amount of touchdowns in the SEC over his two seasons

Last I will say on the subject.... it isn’t that fact that you have a different perspective it’s the voracity and frequency in which you voice that opinion that people think is a bit over the top. No one is offended, just think it’s odd for a Vol fan. I am not alone in thinking this.

Bentley has been somewhat like Manziel in that he seems to be best when his coverage breaks down and he scrambles out of the pocket. He seemed to throw better when he is moving, and of course he can use his legs effectively. But he has been inconsistent throwing from the pocket. He will be a jr this season so will be interesting to see if he gets better from the pocket.

I mean that’s fair but I’m not trying to be combative about it. Just saw a poster say they’d go 5-7 and I don’t see that at all
