'18 GA OG Dylan Wonnum

EDIT: nevermind... i'm an idiot. Sorry for the useless bump. Saw where usce signed a 4 star OT and posted it in relation to Wonnums recruitment, but then noticed it was a 2019 kid.

Probably should have kept this one. Not just from me but from everybody. lol

Hrmmm... I hope we have an in-home scheduled for him this week.

He said there is no leader among the three and he’s not sure what will separate them.

“I don’t know, that’s something I really have to sit down and think about. It’s muddled. It’s all over the place.”

As for having a brother in the program which would give his family a chance to see both of them at the same place, Wonnum said that’s not a factor.

He's lying. This late in the process and there's no leader or you're not sure what'll separate?

I'll take a lot of liberty with that quote and say that he was talking to a SC broadcaster and didn't want to ruffle feathers. He's leaning Vols. Has to be after visiting us last weekend.

Are you sure? I thought that link to the SC site said he was in Columbia this weekend.

I know we are thin at OL, but are we sure this kid is a take? Are we sure we Wonnum?

I know, that was bad. Sorry...

Heard he absolutely loved his UT visit. If the decision was his own very likely a Vol. Unfortunately that isn't the case, parents desperately want him at SC with big brother.

I hope the young man realizes it IS his own decision.

I’ll say that while leaving out how when I was 18 I wanted to join the marines but my mom was scared because she lost an uncle who served, so we compromised on the Navy.

Hope he ends up in this class. Getting him along with Carvin would be impressive and unexpected just two months ago.

I would understand the usce lean if the kid was from SC. But otherwise - to include playing with your brother - I don't know how anyone would want to pick playing at that school over Tennessee. Facilities, fan base, stadium, history, coaching staff, depth chart... we have every advantage over them.

Make the right choice young man. Come to the hill.

Coaching staff?

Coaching staff?

Hell yeah, coaching staff. Y’all are overrated af and preyed on a historically weak East. Never have UT and UF both been that bad and you still should’ve lost to both of us but both teams had quit by that point. Took a miracle for you to beat La Tech, too.
