Jones show up?
Didn't see Jones but Fields looked good. Harrison never really challenged Dalton deep so only got to see him throw the deep ball once. Looked to have decent arm stretch and plenty athletic enough.
He's just a Jr so has plenty of time to develop. Very hard nosed runner. He is the entire Harrison team on offense. His team lost tonite 31-14 to Dalton who is #1 in 6A in Georgia

When I was in school Dalton recruited the very best players. They still doing that?
Yes/no. Dalton is a small city with a handful of kids in each class that are real difference makers. Being that Dalton is the biggest school most kids want to play against the best competition. A lot of ppl call it recruiting I just call it wanting to play on the best team in the area. Dalton is LOADED with a really good senior class who all are from Dalton. No kids from out of state are area this year.
Except they recruited all over. Need a QB? Go find one and give his dad a well paying job. That is what they used to do.

I get you point but being from here that rumor is really overstated. I cant name one kid since the late 90s that was a major contributor that didn't come from the area and just went to a different high school in Dalton. Can't think of 1 kid that ever came from out of state and contributed.
When I lived in the area, no kid from Murray county ever wanted to play for Dalton. My nephew was the Murray starting MLB for three years, they beat Dalton his Jr and Sr year.Yep, especially any kid from Murray or even NW Whit/SE or Calhoun area. Now, Dalton is no longer the school kids want to play for or that is recruited, its Calhoun and it's not close. Calhoun puts out D1 talent every year (down some this year) yet still has players going to P5 schools. Matter of fact, the QB for Appy State, is Hal Lamb's (Calhoun HC) nephew.

I didn't know you lived this way, do you care to tell me what year he graduated? Was Napier still coach? Looks weird seeing him on Daltons sideline
It was supposed to be this month but he's gotten a lot of interest over the last two months.
You mean NSD this year or next year?
