I would rather Fields end up at Auburn as opposed to Florida. Unfortunately, it doesn't look to be trending in that direction.

Just another example of the frustrating part of kids committing early only to decommit. Penn State ended the year as hot as any team and is a top 5 ranked team to start the year and seemingly did nothing to lose this kid and yet he decommits from them. If a kid wants the 'dream offer' why not wait until later before committing.

I just don't get it.

And again it's amazing to me that UT at one time led for Trevor Lawrence, Emory Jones, and Justin Fields.

Close to family is huge for the Fields with sister playing softball at UGA. Aub provides that coupled with the relationships and offense....UF has opportunity going for them but it won't be enough from what I heard but we'll see.

The real meltdown will be if the D-lineman, Micah Parsons, ends up at Ohio State. He's in Penn State's backyard and recently decommitted too.

Remember when our staff missed out on Lawrence and Jones and then Fields was the "fall back?" People were criticizing the staff, and Fields didn't have all of his offers. Our staff continues to evaluate well even though they don't always land who they want.

Our staff continues to evaluate well even though they don't always land who they want.

This is the one attribute of this staff that I've been most impressed by. This staff has consistently identified kids early in the process that "blow up" in the later months.

I would agree 3 weeks ago, today, I'd say you are third. Him spending so much time with Cam and Cam being his coach has AU in the catbirds seat. If Fields commits, I think Gatewood would look elsewhere.
