'18 GA QB Justin Fields

Don't waste the time. We have what we need.
Seriously?

I’ll never understand why people get upset about bringing in QB’s. We can never have enough lineman but if you talk about bringing in multiple QB’s in the same class there’s always a few who are against it. They will argue so and so is better, we have our starter, etc. what’s wrong with bringing in a 5 star QB?! Makes no sense to be against it.

To be fair, AV, he did play. But, I agree that it doesn't help Kirby, and I love it.
He played to the detriment of the offense/team this year. Fromm should’ve not missed even one significant snap this past year, and everybody who paid attention knows it. Doubt it hurts his recruiting, but it did make Kirby look like a guy willing to be dishonest/say anything to a recruit to get him to commit.

Fields will be the real deal wherever he goes. OK seems like a perfect but could end up at Ohio State. Would love to have him in orange and white but don’t see a chance. Need a dual threat QB who can take pressure off our OL as they (incoming freshmen) get stronger and adapt to the speed of the college game. Last true dual threat QB we had made Butch Jones look above average. Last national championship we had and only one in my lifetime was directed by a dual threat QB.

What's the depth look like at those schools? I haven't followed anyone but sec schools this year really. Idk about the other schools but I would say that UT would give him an immediate opportunity to start probably and it would be closer to home if that is a factor at all.

Think he’d step right in as a starter at Oklahoma

Yes would be really dumb to come here.... while I’d love to have him Ohio state or Oklahoma makes much more sense
Dumb why? BC he would almost be guaranteed to start immediately?

He could go and play on a contender right away and potentially ride the bench or he can come in work his ass off and make Tennessee a contender.

Murray and Haskins both, are suppose to be back next year. If Fields gets that waiver, what is the sense in going to either OU or OSU?

I just figured Murray would take it while the gettin is good. Will not improve his stock draft wise after a Heisman. Will probably go lower if he sticks around
