I'd rather see him in dreads for speed reasons but Goldy locks is OK too I guess.

It's too late now. Your stupid joke has ruined this thread. After their parents read this we'll never get Jones OR Lawrence.

Nothing in that article puts me in panic-mode over Trevor Lawrence. Seemed like typical recruit-speak about a visit to me.

Recruiting wrap: Lawrence has offers from more than 25 schools, but Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson and Florida appear to be in the best shape to land his commitment at this point.

What I like: Lawrence has great size and a frame where he could easily play at 230 pounds without losing any of his ability to move around in the pocket. He has a very strong arm, he delivers the ball from a consistent launch point and he has a good flow to his throws using his lower body well. He is advanced on his timing patterns already for a younger quarterback and everything he throws is on a line and is a dart. He uses his entire body when throwing and rotates his hips well into his throw.

What I want to see in Baltimore: The one thing Lawrence struggled with at the regional in Atlanta was overstriding at times and his release point was ocassionally too high. He is much better on zip passes than touch passes, so I’d like to see him take a little off at times and finesse the ball when needed. Nothing seems to bother him much and he’s a competitor, but I’d like to see him take the next step and amp it up in Baltimore with some additional focus.

The big thing I noticed with Dobbs is this same thing with touch. Everything is zipped straight and touch is a struggle. Good arm but sometimes it is placing it with some loft and throw it deep where they receiver can run under it in stride.

We all know who is the GOAT at this.

He kind of contradicted himself imo. He said he likes that he has consistent release point... then says of things he would like him to change his that he occasionally released ball to high.
