J Jennings is being moved from QB to WR as we speak. Making room for Lawrence and/or Hunter Johnson.

I wouldn't be shocked if we land both before the season starts TBH.

I think both are ready to commit. I'm almost positive we are about to land Johnson any day now. The only thing is that could scare Lawrence. But he's a huge Vol fan and we are the leader for both QBs as of right now. Both are elite. Johnson fits our offense a little better.

Initially I thought same thing about if Johnson were to commit but TL number 2 is UGA who has Eason now and Hockman 2017 committed so I don't think it should have any effect. I think depth chart has more effect on the Johnson situation than Lawrence. With Johnson we are going against ND who doesn't have a 2016 QB commit.

The 2017 and 2018 classes will be ridiculous with Butch having both Johnson and Lawrence in the fold and having essentially two to three years to stockpile talent.

I'm sure Lawrence is well aware of Butch recruiting HJ as well.

Not doubting but where are you hearing this? Just curious since practice doesnt start for a few more days.

In addition to those 12 wins, Lawrence accumulated 3,042 yards passing with a 60 percent completion percentage and 26 touchdowns. He's big and lengthy at 6-foot-5. He's athletic. He has a big arm. He's got everything you could want out of a big-time passer.

...What he can become: It's really hard and really rare to go wire to wire as the No. 1 player in the country from sophomore year to senior year but Lawrence is equipped to make that kind of run. Byron Moore told me this a.m. He's seen Jennings running routes on air over the past few weeks with Dobbs etc. He said it would come out today in the presser and he was correct. Butch said Jennings will get a look at safety also.
