f*** Clemson and that dufus Dabo.
Dude knows how to accumulate, develop and appropriately use top talent and then go win a ton of ballgames with it. Gotta tip your hat. Can't blame recruits for wanting to go be a part of that. It sucks for us, but it is what it is. We could use our own version of Dabo in Knoxville.
First...I said we were in the mix...I didn't say it was a done deal...so don't put words in my mouth.
Secondly...As we all know there is a lot of time here before this is done. Going off of the family situation I was presented I was told TN was a top consideration recently...and I still believe that
Third-Clemson.... there are lot of rumors going around regarding some potential NCAA infractions that may be coming in the future for Clemson. Remains to be seen if that will come to fruition...but if it does it may have a effect on their '18 and beyond class.
Yes clearly I am disappointed he didn't commit to TN...but again...we have time here...I am still very hopeful we could land him long term...and I will stick by that.

We may have our own version. Building a program doesn't happen overnight.

I'm sorry, there is absolutely no evidence that Butch will trend the same way that Dabo has. I'm not saying it can't happen, but until there is something tangible that says it willhappen, and not just blind optimism, I will dismiss that theory.
Dabo had to learn how to be a HC. Butch had been one for numerous years. Not to say that there isn't a learning curve going to the SEC, but Dabo had to start from scratch. Can't stand the guy, but I guess kudos to him.

In other words, you are willing to invent excuses for Dabo but not for Butch.
This absolutely makes no sense to me. What the hell does everyone see in Dildo? Why would the #1 2018 QB pick the same college as the #1 2017 QB? So one of them can sit on the bench?:crazy::crazy:What a waste!:bad::bad:
PS. I hope Bama kicks their a$$
Semantics aside, what evidence? The trending of the record?
Come on.
I have no reason to invent excuses for Dabo. I have no investment in the Clemson program. In fact, I discovered that there was one program I could root for Alabama over in the national championship.
That appears to be the case with what happened with Dabo after playing itself out. No excuses for me, and I'm not going to make excuses for Butch either. If he has the chance to have that path play out for him, well, that's outside of my control as well, but I'd be all for it.
Nice try at a substance lacking zinger though.
