Because Gruden might run a better fitting offense? See Hunter Johnson. I know I know! Trevor is leagues better! But Kelly Bryant isn’t an endangered species. Justin Fields might start sniffing at Clemson looking at the logjam in front of him.

This is hilarious, Clemson fans everywhere had to leave work early because they pooped their pants. This poor kid getting pushback because he isn’t “the” Trevor Lawrence. I bet he thinks he’s real. :thumbsup:

Yeah but TL being an EE makes it highly unlikely to flip. Also, I dont know if TL is leagues better than Johnson. There may not be a logjam in front of Fields if Eason was to transfer.

I’m not saying Lawrence would decommit but if we make a slash hire I do think he’d listen. We were his top school at one point until Butch screwed it up.

My inference was that everyone sees Dec 20 as this dreaded drop dead date. It’s still the recruit’s choice so some potential EE’s have a window until January. And I obviously disagree with you on Hunter Johnson. Lawrence is ASTRONOMICALLY better. :)

Heard a podcast that said the Dec 20 date was for two days and I think Currie addressed that also.
