They aren't fans of Butch's offense. Dabo has convinced them they will tailor to his strengths. Told him before the year he would tweak his offense to where the QB doesn't run except scrambles, and he did. Not nearly as many QB designed runs this year for Watson.

Well, honestly EJ is a Perfect fit for Butch's offense. Think a bulked up Dobbs with accuracy. Perfect fit.

Watson averaged 11 carries per game while Josh Dobbs averaged 11 1/2. Dabo can say wants he wants and they can believe what they want, but the pass first QB at Clemson ran the ball just as much as our QB in a supposed "run first" offense.

Dobbs' carries were mostly broken plays. Watson's were designed plays. I honestly think, and I know I'm in the minority, that this offensile doesn't need at DT QB but that's the flavor right now. So of course we need a DT QB....

Hmmm he seemed to have 5 or 6 a game how many did watson get? Not being snarky just curious. I agree we dont necessarily need a dt, dormady will be good in this offense.

He surpassed Watson's passing yardage record last week, and is two touchdowns shy of breaking Watson's TD record.

Which is kind of amazing because he usually doesn't even play in the 2nd half or if he does it is a drive or two. He has thrown 34 td's and 1 pick this year. He has thrown 154 td's and only 21 int's in his career.

I saw a stat the other day that showed only his 1st half yardage, and it was 4th all time in the state. Watson was first, his total yardage was second, someone else was third, and then 1st half Trevor was fourth.

i have a sneaking suspicion he may be back in knoxville SOON

will need to go shopping for some big time WR's now bc Lawrence is gonna wear their finger tips out!
