We have one of the best recruting staffs in the nation. There is no doubt in my mind that if they can get in home or get Lawrence to visit that they have a good chance to land him.

It's more likely for Gruden to coach here than it is for Lawrence and Mays to sign with us at this point.

I just feel it's too late to gain that solid relationship and trust.

Especially when our full staff isn't even in place. We don't even have official releases on the staff, there's no WR, TE/ST, or S/C coach.

Like...if recruiting is like relationships, then you're asking these guys to trade a girl they've loved and dated for two years, for a girl that they just met. There might be an attraction and an interest, but there's just not enough time to build a foundation to make a move.

That's why IF Cade delays his signing, then there's a chance.

But I think Cade and Trevor are both wearing a different shade of orange next year.
