No I think they just have a specific skill set they’re looking for. They offered another ‘18 QB late last night.

Just my opinion, but with all the highly rated guys committed and unlikely to flip, I think we only take one guy that's a solid backup in case the injury bug/transfers occur. Dormady and JG are both solid QBs they just haven't had a good line to give them time to throw, IMO. If we can get an upgraded line in with TS and some of the juco guys/grad transfer I think we swing for fences next year on big names.

This^..... QB is not an area of absolute need this year.. we have serviceable guys at that position. Make QB a high priority next year and build relationships with the Elite QBs of next years class. Use that scholarship this year to build depth up front.

I understand this but at the same time, MOST of the top rated guys at the QB position already know where they are going. We joined the game late with this staff and relationships have already been built. Sure, we could get a QB in this class but the chances of him being recruited over next year is probable. I'd be ok with stacking talent everywhere else and focus next year on the Big Fish QB.

Just saw someone post on Facebook that he is decommiting from Clemson to come here. I'm not believing it until it happens, but has anyone heard anything?? We were in his top 3 when he committed to Clemson.

Uhhh why? Our coaches better be putting the full court press on him. Lmao. Swain said our coaches are working to get him, not that they will. It is probably too late, but hey our coaches better be doing everything they can to get him. Glad they seem to be.

Yeah, the Tennessee fan base would be erupting like a volcano. Let it go boys. He and Mays have bought into the Dabo hype machine. And Dabo is a heck of a coach, a real guy, and he figured out just in the nick of time to hire great coordinators and staff. Fortunately Pruitt already knows. Bad thing for Lawrence is the depth chart and offensive scheme. Even worse is I’ve heard from Bama guys down there that Saban is going one more year, then headed into the booth, which he loves. Guess who will be taking over for him. Another reason Lawrence and Mays should come here. But oh well, let’s go with kids that love the Vols

Cade has 100% unfortunately. Lawerence though. I think there’s a slim shot. Like 5%. So Pruitt, roll that dice!

We absolutely have to take one. We were one snap away from having a walk on QB starter and another walk on backing him up. Think about that. And there's no guarantee Dormady comes back his SR season without his Boy Butch here.

On Defense Clemson is a lot better than they were last year but also Ala isn't as good as last year either. Clemson is the better overall team than Ala.

Would be funny but I don’t see Dabo going to Bama period. I don’t care if that’s where he went. He’s built Clemson into a power, he’s not leaving. Period. It’s silly to see so many people think he will be Saban successor someday.
