Spoke to a friend of mine that knows him well. Says Grant is absolutely the best pure athlete on the Buford HS football team....and if you anything about Buford, that's a hell of a compliment. Says he's a pure running back. Never shies away from contact. Just an absolute physical specimen. Grades may be an issue. Been saying it for years. It's not reliable.

They just throw it out there and the masses take it at face value. The composite is a farce.

it's not worth getting too caught up in it. Ratings are SUBJECTIVE. You can quantitfy someone's speed and size and drill times, but in the end there is a lot of subjectivity in player evaluation. It is why some supposed top prospects go bust and little-known players become stars. Both of these new RB commits obviously need to put on 20 pounds of muscle--and then we hope they've still got the wiggle.

I know this gets said a lot but this kid should get a bump in the rankings. I noticed Scout had him as a 4 star but Rivals and 247 are still sleeping on him I think. Really underrated as an ATH/RB.

Whatever. If u are talking about the kickoff return, Grant had ran about 150 yards and the kid had the angle. The 1st long TD run, the DB was gaining on Grant, but Grant had obviously let up and still scored with a 10 yard gap. Oh yeah, it's u, sjt. Should have known, u always have something negative to say

Whatever? I very seldom criticize recruits... or declare them to be the next greatest thing. This kid simply doesn't look to have very good speed and especially when compared to Dixon.
