Travis Stephens had to wait his turn then wow. Prospects are prospects. Bust and Boom. Time will tell but to make that judgement before he even has played his last year in high school is wrong. Even Bama doesn't have 25 five stars.

Actually you can have both, we do need a physical runner and Grant is that and more. More so for Kelly, he is a hard physical runner that is also quick and can make you miss. Even Kamara could run in between the tackles some, Hurds problem was slow out of the gate, especially his last year. But you need both of types of backs in the SEC, our O-Line is shaping up to be more physical as well which well help the running game. But make no mistake, this is a LOS league STILL. Bottom line is you have to be able to run and on defense you have to be able to stop it. I like 2 runners of at least slightly different styles, and yes we got be able convert in 3rd and short and get the tough yards. GBO!!!!

yeah thank God we didn't have a 3 star starter rush 122 times for 451 yards and we had a 5 star rush 98 times for 630 as third string.

I remember when sjt18 was my favorite VN poster. That was a long time ago and he was much different. I think he's just become jaded like so many UT fans.

Here's the thing. People perceive that you have an agenda against CBJ and/or our program, because the vast majority of your posts are critical of individual recruits and, by association, the coaching staff. Have you posted in the Chatman or Dixon threads, yet? Did you boom? Do you think that they are SEC-caliber players? If you do, why have you not said so?

A lot of people don't boom because they expect Tennessee to get players like Dixon. Thats what Tennessee does. They question 5.6s because that's not in Tennessee blood.

I think it is sad and carries a strong sense of entitlement. I celebrate the fact that my kids love me, even though I expect them to. It is still worth celebrating.

Enjoy the recruits that come to be Vols. I'm proud of them all until they give me a reason to feel differently. And they rarely do.

Good point but you've got to be hard on them in SEC. Nice fans, teams, and players finish last.
