Nothing much to see in this video aside from DJ panicking. At :45 Dixon finally gets a carry and gets to the outside for a nice 10/11 yard run. That UGA defense wasn't exactly easy to get to the edge on.

Idk. They split him out wide. They use him to chip pass rushers there as well. He could be a nightmare in this offense if he can pick up everything quick enough. Has a dynamic skill set that we really haven’t seen out of anyone in our RB room thus far imo.

He’s an absolute moron is his major issue. I’m thinking it was Evans that they had a NIL opportunity lined up for him and he didn’t even bother to show for the meeting. Imagine not showing up for basically free money.

I think Evans never bought in to the culture under Heup. He was originally recruited by Pruitt who could care less about character. There were a lot of rumors he didn’t go to class if I remember right.

Per media and those plugged in, he was low on the depth chart and simply stopped coming to work outs.

Definitely feeling like he just wasn’t gonna get a starting spot

Dixon is a bum with no competitive spirit. Unfortunate, but it doesn't sound like much of a loss.
He was kicked off the team, FWIW, because once he started slipping on the depth chart, he straight up stopped showing up to practice.

This guy has only been with us for like 4 months, rumors on 247 boards were he was kicked off the team

Specifically, kicked off the team because he was like 3rd on the depth chart at best and just stopped coming to workouts and team meetings.

If you go deeper into their boards, though, they were not happy or so matter-of-fact about him leaving the week leading up to him leaving, and the day that he left. Very distraught.

Typical "didn't want him anyway." Just sharing what was out there.

I can't find the post now but basically a WVU member was saying that the WVU staff recruited him as a transfer to come in - promising him major/starting role. Then the WVU staff realized that they had a great RB room and were more invested in the guys that would be there long-term.

I'm sure that the truth is somewhere in the middle, but if Dixon left Clemson to go be a starter or a 1-B, and then wasn't getting that opportunity, I think I can understand him being pissed. On the other hand, if the WVU staff thought they were getting the guy from the 2018 and 2019 highlights that I posted, and then he showed up on campus and loafed it, I can understand them being pissed too.
