He has to work out for 1 semesterKind of interesting that Tiyon was already with the team when Heupel was hired, seemed to have attitude problems based on reports when he left. Now Dixon being brought in by a coach who’s against attitude problems/locker room issues. I wouldn’t think they’d take him if they didn’t feel like he would work out
Tiyon really didn’t have issues with the staff. He had issues going to class…..any and all classes.Kind of interesting that Tiyon was already with the team when Heupel was hired, seemed to have attitude problems based on reports when he left. Good point. Kind of like Ty Chandler knew the job was going to Tiyon (that was the idea anyway). No hard feelings thereDixon left Clemson because a freshman showed up on campus and was immediately given the starting role after Dixon spent 3 years waiting for his turn. I don't think that's a sign of a bad attitude.
Chandler left as a grad transfer before cornbread was fired and before Evans showed up - way different. Would you have stayed and played another year in the disfunctional program cornbread was running?Good point. Kind of like Ty Chandler knew the job was going to Tiyon (that was the idea anyway). Well, actually, Ty left early January when Tiyon was already on campus and Cody Brown had signed his LOI. No I don’t blame Ty for leaving at all. I’m saying that Shipley coming to Clemson and given the reigns is similar to that in the sense “why would I stay here when I’ve waited 2-3 years to be THE guy” like Chandler deserved here. I’m glad he did well at UNC and pumped to see what he does in MinnesotaChandler left as a grad transfer before cornbread was fired and before Evans showed up - way different. Time is short and losing Whitehead late is what it is. Fall is here, so does anybody have a solid feel for where we are in regards to our 85? Not sure how many outside additions are really out there for this season. This could factor into any risk/reward decision about this guy.
I think I remember hearing Heupel say we aren’t that close to the 85. I could be wrong though.
