'18 GA RB Lyn-J Dixon (Tennessee transfer)

If the best of the two are just as good as Wright last year, we will probably have a worst backfield than last year.
Can you maybe rephrase that?

If you were trying to say what I think you were trying to say then... Small improved. Wright improved. So there is no reason to speculate that the addition of one or two players who chip in as much as Wright will result in a "worst" backfield.

I think the backfield to start the year this year is worst than last year. I have little confidence that a combo of wright/small will be able to make it throughout the year. I think it's the weakest position group on offense.

Tiyon Evans last year was better than small. Small as RB 2 last year is better than Wright as RB2 this year. Hopefully we have another year where no RBs get too significantly hurt and hopefully no one else quits the team.

I think you are going to be surprised by this rb group.

Sampson will surprise everyone

All references to Tennessee are off his Instagram and I think it was going to be a long shot for him to factor here. Read into that what you will.

reVOLution33-I don't agree with most talented. I think small, Sampson and justin are more talented, but he does have more experience.
I guess I was accurate???

If Wright and Small can stay moderately healthy, they really don't.

The situation just isn't that dire IMO. Small put on 15 lbs, hopefully that has an effect on his durability this year.

I mean counting on them to be fully healthy for 12+ games after what we know about them is quite the stretch. I hope they do, though.

its not dire but it’s also not great. There’s a reason they wanted a transfer back for about the past 10 months.

Man I wish Beckwith didn’t shy away from contact. I always envisioned him being a Trey Burton type of player for us

Thought it was funny. Ky coaches and media out out an article and mentioned Beckwith in some interviews so they could take subtle shots at TN not knowing how to use him and how they would find a place for him and then the next week in practice kid running at the back of end of depth chart lol. It really makes no sense guy is massive and could dominate physically if light switch every came on mentally to do it for more than a play here and there. Apparently we tried him at LB and Safety some too in practice and didn’t like him at any of those
