Whether this kid endanger up at OT or not, we’re likely gonna need a TE who can give one of our OTs help over the next year or two. I kind of like the idea of having a jumbo TE who can help out in the blocking game. I can’t remember a great blocking TE we’ve had ever since Stocker went pro. We’ve had mostly receiving TEs it seems like.

this section is rather self explanatory, but the interesting thing is this spot could already have a candidate in mind. New orleans native glenn beal recently named tennessee his leader, and while the vols already have two tight end commits in the 2018 class, beal is a take and a big priority for this staff. The 6-foot-5, 265-pound prospect could ultimately end up on the defensive line, but he’s being recruited as a physical, in-line tight end.
