Taking 3 TEs would be ridiculous, we took 2 last year
Not saying your wrong but keep seeing stuff like this and wonder what is it base on. How do we have any idea what Pruitt likes to do on offense. Hes never had say on an offense.I agree but Pruitt uses blocking TE's a lot to help out the OLine and likes pass catching ones too. He either plans on making some position changes or doesn't have much confidence in the ones on campus right now. Eli Wolf has 4 career catches, Austin Pope 1,Bown and Bumphus redshirted this year. Very little is known about the group on campus. I'm sure JP trusts his evals over Butch's and has certain stuff he looks for from his TE's. Also could be a back up if Anderson somehow can't make it in. Will be anxious to see what position changes occur. Bumphus was a wDE prospect also so that is a possibility and thought JP wanted Beal on the defensive side? Could have been people just speculating on that but it had been mentioned.J Jacob Warren would definitely benefit from a RS he's like 6'6 210. Very light for a TE.

I think after the visit to Texas A&M and the fact he's announcing something today, seems like A&M to me.
Tennessee is pretty tight on numbers and they have two tight ends signed in this class.
-HubbsThe reality is Pruitt's recruiting is changing daily. He's going to have some interesting decisions to make.
Our point in the podcast wasn't about Beal's talent. He talented, but can they afford to sign a 3rd tight end in this class. LSU likes him as well but they have no room for him.
Tennessee spent a longtime with Glenn Beal on Wednesday. David Johnson and Brian Niedermeyer went to both the school and home, and while many have ticketed Beal for Texas A&M, the tight ends recruitment is far from over. Tennessee remains very much in the picture, as his mom attended his OV with the Vols but not A&M. Having Johnson, a New Orleans native on staff, is another chip in UTs favor. Ole Miss sent most of its offensive staff to see Beal this week and hell OV there this weekend. Alabama is also making a push, and could get his final visit. Again, this one is far from over.
