Im liking Tennessee a lot right now, Harris said at the NPA event at Alcoa High on Sunday. They have a good program. I like coach (Butch) Jones coach. Coach (Charlton) Warren would be coaching me. I just feel like the Vols are the top right now.
Harris, who visited Tennessee in March for a Junior Day, continues to build a relationship with Warren and hes looking forward to having more face-time with UTs new secondary coach next Saturday. With a good familiarity around Tennessee, Harris is focused on building on his relationship with Warren and observing how he coaches.
Hes a great coach. Really cool and down to earth, Harris said. I feel like it would be fun playing for him. I would learn a lot, but also Id be able to go to him for stuff. He would just be a really cool person to (lean on) and a good teacher.
Harris isnt in any hurry to commit, saying, Im probably going to wait until after my football season because I want to see how college football season is going and how everything plans out.
While Harris doesnt have a top group yet, Tennessee remains in a solid spot due to his bond with commits like Cade Mays and Alontae Taylor, as well as his interest in potentially playing close to home. I know what Im getting from Tennessee, he said. Youre getting good coaches, great fan base and also just good people.
