But we don't sooooo
We've won, just not the important ones.
The Top247 junior safety from Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tenn., returned to Tennessee on Saturday for the second time in less than two months to see the Vols practice, and he said he enjoyed watching their players and coaches on the practice field for the first time.
It was a fun day, said Harris, whos ranked the nations No. 116 overall prospect and No. 13 safety in the 247Sports Composite for the 2018 class. It was just cool getting to see them practice and see, if I went there, how I would get to play and stuff. I didnt have any questions (about Tennessee), but that was nice.
During the practice and stuff, they made sure that I was paying attention, Harris said. They just let me know what they were doing during the drills and stuff so I would know what they were doing. They made me feel really welcome.
They were just happy I was back, said Harris, who also attended the Vols first junior day of the year in February. They were just happy to see me back up there.
He said last week that hes still planning to decide on a college sometime close to National Signing Day.
I actually think we have won enough for instate kids like this. Instate kids love the atmosphere of a UF type game last year even though we didn't win the East. They can travel 2-3 hours to school and play in that kind of environment.
If CBJ were to start winning bigger, then he will get some interest from the major 4 stars and 5 stars out of state.
The prom would have gotten Brendan Harris as well, but Harris wants to come up bad enough that he is coming in the morning before returning to Chattanooga for prom pictures in the later afternoon. Things seem to be really going well with Harris, who came up last week just to see how Charlton Warren interacts with his defensive backs and came away very impressed.
Possible commit watch?
I know it is not really that far but making the trip up in the morning and then heading back in the afternoon for just a quick visit is yuge IMO. Shows how much he really likes UT I think. Very good sign for the good guys!
I really think he's coming up to commit, and get the momentum rolling for the day.
