'18 TN OL Jerome Carvin (UT signee)

Been years since I have been to Jackson, TN. But many years before, I visited every year for one of largest softball tournaments in TN until that tornado wiped out the park. Since then when i went, it looks like the town that time forgot, like so many mid sized towns in TN.

I'd like for every spoiled sob who thinks Jackson is crappy because they don't have enough for fancy men to do to go live in Bruceton for a while.

Man it had changed so much, downtown looks totally different now. New restaurant's, and shopping it's pretty sweet. The expansion plans they have will wipe out a lot of East Jackson which is arguably some of the worst parts. From exit 87 back going west has grown tremendously in the last 8-10 years.

Good for Yall! Never understood why they didn't build back that park. I know those weekends we played over there, business had to be good. Especially at Spinnakers (i think that was the name of it)

Choosing Daniel Brooks and Bo Hardegree from JCM over Patrick Willis from Bruceton. Not Fulmers best decision.

Willis played single A football in west tenn against terrible competetion. Probably difficult to tell how good he actually was.

Some kids just are grown ass men compared to their peers. Willis was a large and angry human on the football field and he would've stood out regardless of the competition level in high school.

It's like the Williamson kid from Milan that was so athletic and just always in on every play. You knew he was going to be a great player but Tennessee passed for "better" recruits.

Would like to get everyone's take on Hendersonville.

I love Hendersonville quiet reserve and has just about anything you need as far as shopping, movies, food, etc. One of the biggest attributes of Hendersonville is the constant rise in property value. I've seen almost 100k increase in 3 yrs. Also 2nd best school system in TN if you have kids.

Last time I was in Jackson, it had just been leveled by a tornado two days before.

Yeah we actually got caught out in it. It picked the front end of our car up off the ground in front of the old Bemis Mill. It dropped it and it didn't get a second chance lol. We made it to The Church and got in out of it. It completely destroyed parts of South Jackson and downtown

Patrick was good in high school, but nowhere near the player he was in college. You never know who is going to blow up when they get to the next level. But he did play against some trash teams during his tenure at Bruceton.

I have lived 45 miles or so from Jackson my whole life. I remember when the bypass around Jackson was a bypass now it has 10 red lights😡
In th 70's it was a nice bigger small town. Then the powers that be decided to become the Hub City between Memphis and Nashville. Well they got there wish and all the problems that come with growing too big too fast.
