I haven't followed Carvin's recruitment lately. But with AL taking Bell, a 3 star OL, maybe Carvin will pledge to us now. Has he given any hint as to when he's going to announce his commitment decision?

24/7 owns scout but they have two different ratings for the same player. Why don't they just fold scout into 24/7? Seems like a lot of duplicated effort.

They own half the sites used to calculate it but those two sites don't even agree. I use the composite in the Commits thread but I am tempted to switch to the Rivals ranking. Or maybe I'll just make my own. It would be as meaningful.

Under my system, I will drop a player inversely to the bump they get for committing to one of the darlings.

I almost think that was a crusade by Woody and Ferrell cat due to all of the heat they were catching on Volquest. It was a laughable ranking and they couldn't even pinpoint a reason other than not seeing enough of him to justify a higher ranking. They weighed down Eric Crosby's rating last year as well.

If I remember correctly the main reason Trey Smith was dropped was because his arms were not long enough to be a dominant left tackle. Haha, that's like saying I'm not long enough to be dominant in the bedroom and everybody knows a Dog can reach places others can only dream with their tongue

The arms thing seems to be accurate so far. We've had him working mostly at Guard.

I'm guessing even though 247 bought Scout, Scout analysts still maintained their employment, thus the different rankings. Now how long that lasts is anyone's guess.
