From Barton Simmons:
"Tennessee, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State," Wray said on Sunday afternoon. "Those are the four schools that I'm zeroed in on."
By narrowing it to those four schools, Wray plans to take the next few weeks with his family to mull over his options before making a final decision that is likely to come in mid-May.
"I just need to ind the place that's going to make me fulfill my potential the best and where I fit in not only as a football player but as a person too," he said. "I'm looking for like-minded people to me and where I just fit in."
Each of Wray's four finalists has hosted the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder on multi-day visits with his family and he's now seen enough to weigh his options without taking any more visits. Wray touched on each of the four finalists and why they're in the hunt.
"Tennessee, it's just the home town team. They've got a great coach in Coach (Walt) Wells and they're definitely on the rise. It would just be cool to play for my state.
"Alabama is the best in the business. They put people in the league every year. It's the best program with the best facilities and the best coaches.
"LSU is really turning things around and I really believe in Coach (Orgeron), Coach (Matt) Canada and Coach (Jeff) Grimes. (General Manager) Austin Thomas is a big part of that too.
"Ohio State, Coach (Urban) Meyer, Coach (Kevin) Wilson and Coach (Greg Studrawa), they're all great coaches and have a track record of being great coaches. They're a powerhouse like Alabama with great facilities and all the guys are really cool. It's just an all-around great place."
