'18 TN QB/WR Alontae Taylor (UT commit 6/18/16)

Nothing in recruiting surprises me anymore. Having said that, I'd be a little surprised if he wasn't strongly committed at this point having already decommitted from one school (Vandy) and relatively quickly committing to another (Tennessee).

Taylor threw for a TD in his lone pass attempt. He also caught a 43-yard touchdown pass and had TD runs of 48, 64 and 14 yards, finishing with 293 rushing yards on 10 carries and 363 total yards.

29 yards a carry? Eh, not bad. 30 would have sounded better. JK

Looks like the kid could help in a lot of areas. Very talented indeed.

Only a Junior too, he will still have good stats the rest of the year but probably not as great given little ole Coffee County that usually wins 2 or 3 per year just started in Murderers row division of Middle Tennessee. Riverdale, Blackman,Oakland....tough for a small town.

The are giving him a little DB work too.

Would have been more but Tullahoma controlled the ball for most of the 2nd and 3 rd quarter

On left side of photo, look at the player to the right of the girl w/ball cap. That is the Coffee County middle linebacker. Big hitter.

I see CC being a 5-6 win team this year at least.

What surprised me this week was how good WV D was. I know they gave up 40 but 21 points were in the first five minutes on turnovers and bad snap over the punter's head.

WV has got to clean up some stuff but they have a lot of talent in the skill areas.

Coach Ryan wasted a lot of talent when he was at SD.

With a 49-10 win over Tullahoma, it is already a successful season for the Red Raiders. Any more victories would be icing on the cake.

With that said, CC should beat Warren County. Can't really see them winning any more.

This six divisions of TSSAA football really put the shaft to schools like Coffee County. Should be playing Shelbyville, Lincoln Co, Franklin Co, Columbia, Lawrence Co. They could beat 2-3 of those traditional rivals.
