Please don't tell lies dude. I said based on a few posts before mine about predicting he would be the next one probably de-committing. I DID NOT SAY TAYLOR WAS DE-COMMITTING. Let me get that straight. It's a lie & I don't appreciate that one bit.

That's what I'm talking about on these forums. People make posts that are either not true or totally un-necessary. I said what I did in a post based on what a tweet posted said.

It was not me saying Taylor was de-committing period. I predicted that only based off that tweet. Not a true statement from you at all. Thanks!

Also, it seems that Alontae Taylor is a very strong offensive weapon, but the last I heard from him, we were recruiting him as a DB? Do you think he projects better on defense or offense?

Tennessee is recruiting Taylor as a wide receiver now. At one point, the Vols were talking about playing him in the secondary. Now they're talking more about receiver. Really, I think you just have to view him as an athlete. We probably won't really know what position he's going to play until he gets on campus and goes through some practices. He's sort of like Tyler Byrd in the sense that he's legitimately versatile enough to play on either side.

Per The Tennessean newspaper today, Alontae is the 'Titan Up' High School Player of the Week.

They list his stats from Game 1 as:

283 Rushing Yards, 4 TD
32 Passing Yards, 1 TD
48 Receiving Yards, 1 TD


In a little known fact from last Friday, Alontae also drove the team bus over to Tullahoma to kick some MildCats butt.

The Titans are donating $1,000 to the Coffee County Red Raiders football program.

Are those the stats for last week, Ron? They only scored 30 last night, so those stats don't line up with that. Or maybe his stats for his 1st 2 games?
