Argh, I forgot. He is in that crazy TSSAA division where a 1-9 team makes the playoffs. So, he is probably playing Oakland, or someone, next week. Wish he would sit that one out.

Alright...the bracket is out. Alontae will be punching Maryville out in the first round of the playoffs. Get out there and support your future TENNESSEE VOL............ALONTAE TAYLOR!!! Goooooooooo Red Raiders!

Everybody can tell that Dobbs has regressed, as badly off as he was last night I honestly thing we should have seen Dormady and I'm not somebody that normally wants to see a QB change, especially when we are within a field goal but Dobbs could not run on Carolina and is not that good even when he is on passing but he was terrible last night.

All 32 6A teams make the playoffs. Then the TSSAA matches the # 32 seeded team versus the # 1 team in the first round. That is one of the most lopsided matchups ever scheduled. Coffee County would literally be a 5-5 team playing against 1A teams every week. Their only win was over Tullahoma which was 0-10 the last two years in 4A.

Maryville could literally beat Coffee County 100-0 if they so wish.

TSSAA is a big joke!

I apologize. I did not know this. It wasn't like this back when I went to high school but that was in the late 80's. That's truly unbelievable. No, I'm not calling you a liar. Been called that way too many times myself on here & it not to be true.

I was just basing it on older times I guess. I would have never guessed every single 6A school made the playoffs. How long has the TSSAA been doing this for 6A schools? That's crazy. I'm sorry for making you feel like I was calling you a liar buddy. Just a mistake on my part. I truly apologize. Thanks!

I think with all the privates leaving now and going to division 2 there want be a super 32 anymore in 6a in the next realignment.

I think this is the first year of the "Super 32" business. The largest 32 public schools in the state make it into the 6A playoffs regardless of record. As I recall, it is a two year trial thing. It is a really dumb idea IMHO.

Yikes! What was that score? Warren and Coffee County's are roughly equal most years.

Now that I think about, it seems Coffee had to play one of the Rutherford County schools in first round last year. Can't remember?

Warren County lost 35-7

Pretty sure Maryville started their backups and yes Tony I'm serious
