LSU fans have a coach who has won something. Better to compare Miles to Fulmer.

*had.....and the comparison is probably spot on because for what miles did he was strung along the last year and a half. Fulmer was handled poorly, but miles was completely disrespected by the AD.

League has changed and sabans success sets a high bar. The fact the "we are Tennessee " doesn't change the reality that someone had to get in the trenches and fight like hell to right the ship.

Butch has given us full dedication and he's made changes to the culture, roster, and his staff that give us a great chance to win on any Saturday. I hope we've had to experience growing pains and not a coaching trend but I hope everyone can at least respect the man for giving his all.

The comparison with Fulmer is spot on, with Butch is laughable.

I really hate seeing my old high school on the wrong side of those highlights, but he's an impressive athlete. I watched that hurdle at 0:49 four or five times.

Was watching a live stream of the rivals challenge just a minute ago and the guy that's recording I could of sworn said that Alonte is going to make people upset wearing that UGA hat.. he said something to Alonte about it and about a comment that said "Tell Alonte to be good". He replied with giving a shout out to Volnation.

He was winning his 1v1 with ease it seemed like.

I went back and rewatched the live stream.

Camera guy: Says something about them catching him wearing a UGA hat.
Alontae: I didn't even see it until some of them recruits was like, bro they put you on twitter with that UGA hat on. I told them that they're going to have to take that off.

Camera guy: Says something about trying to make them Tennessee fans mad are you?
Alontae: Nah!

Camera guy: Someone said to "Tell Alontae to be good" in the comments.
Alontae: Laughs* For real?

Alontae: What's up Volnation? We in here! Indianapolis lets goo!

Funny this should pop up! Stayed with some friends in Manchester this weekend to work @ Bonnaroo, and I asked them about him. He said ask my son that goes to school with him. He said on favorite jersey day, he wore a Bama jersey. And this was long after he committed to us.

He must have lost a bet. Lol I used to see the football team running and he was almost always wearing orange!

I caught up with Alontae Taylor over the weekend at the Five-Star Challenge to talk Vols, his plans to camp and work with Kevin Beard as well as his role as a recruiter.

Here's a portion of our conversation:

In His Words: “Orange Carpet Day is coming up this weekend and I hope it’s going to be a big day for us. I expect us to get two commits, hopefully, I know one for sure. I’m looking forward to that. I’m actually going to camp on Friday they want me to come up and work out so I can work out with Coach Beard on the field and work on that bond and stuff like that. So I’m going to camp, spend the night and be there for Orange Carpet Day and have fun.”

On Coach Beard: “This will be my first time working out with him. I just want to see everything that I’ve been seeing on film in terms of the spring and they way the receiver performed and the type of energy he brings. I’m just looking forward to getting some information and coaching from him on how I can improve my game and get better."
