"I thought it was a great visit," Teague said. "I go to talk to Butch (Jones) and coach Gillespie. I got to see their scrimmage and how they run things with that. It was just a good time overall."
"It's been a while and I decided to come back and see it again," Teague said. "I think they put their best foot forward for me. I feel like I'm one of their top guys at running back. They have been communicating with me a lot and they think I'm a leader and someone who can help the program. They tell me they need me and that is something I like."
The relationship between Teague and the Tennessee staff continues to grow and he and running backs coach Robert Gillespie are talking more and more. "He had a development plan if I went to Tennessee," Teague said. "We talked about plays and the read on power and inside zone and stuff like that. I really like that. He is a great coach and I like the way he interacts with players. They really like playing for him and I think he is a great teacher and he fits what I like. He speaks the truth and doesn't soften up on anything. I like that."
"He's very coachable and willing to improve," Blackman head coach David Watson said. "His sophomore year he didn't catch it very well at all. He came back last year and had improved his hands ten fold. He is willing to put in the work to make himself the best. He is a legit 4.4 guy and that's impressive for a big guy. He has break away speed."
"My personality is a laid back person in general," Teague said. "I have a strong family and I let God work. It's going to be hard to knock off schools that I have good relationships with. That will be hard, but I'm just praying that God makes it obvious on where he wants me to go to better myself in life. I try to enjoy it, but sometimes it's a little nerve wracking. It's still good to keep in contact with people."
