'18 TN RB Master Teague

But they do understand how you can lose to that same UT team, and Vandy, and GT, and get blown out by Ole Miss? This is why people think you're just making this stuff up.

Never once did I reason for UGA I only used the narrative of the Top Rbs still loving the UGA brand. Also stated what kids and parents comment on in reference to UT football. Also in that narrative is well Kirby is in yr #1 new system and freshman qb along with zero playmakers at the Wr position. 2 totally different narratives from UGA and UT. Ijs

What kills me is that I think a lot of this perception comes from the media and UT's own impatient Butch-hating "fans," and is totally unfounded. I mean how else do explain us beating UGA, but they still come out smelling like a rose in some peoples' eyes because it took a Hail Mary for us to do it. And you'd have thought we were the ones going backward from 12-2 to 8-5 to 7-6 instead of Auburn.

There are a few positions where we've looked <FCS since Jones has been the coach. That's OL, DB, and before this past season, WR. Jones seems to have addressed all these issues this offseason, and I'm optimistic about it. I don't see how anybody can look at the last 4 years and not see we're trending up.

Auburn basically had a Hail Mary to beat UGA in Malzahn's statement season.

I don't think Georgia came out smelling like a rose. The honeymoon is over for Kirby. He better win this year and this years recruiting class better improve or he will be on the hot seat, in 2018.

Gus was one play from getting fired, last year. Instead, LSU got the play off late and Les got fired. I guess that is debatable, but Gus was in a lot of trouble. If Auburn struggles early again, I expect to hear the Fire Gus stuff, to start back up.

Either way, it doesn't matter. Teague didn't pick any of them or UT. He picked OSU. I don't like it, but there is no denying Urban will be there as long as he wants.

Good luck, Teague. Hope u have a great career against everybody, but UT.

I don't think ppl hate CBJ they just think UT is still the 90s UT and are tired of mediocrity. UT has had talent but not coaching. The changes made are all upgrades. The only coach I hated to see go was Strip who was a very good coach. On the trending statement this looks to be a rough upcoming season. New qb, replacing rb and wr, rebuilding the defense front to back except Mlb too. All this could be a challenge, I look at winning 8 games as a challenge.

Fans don't want to hear it but players question coaches that lose to SCAR and Vandy in the same year. Hard to tell a kid you'll play for a natty when you lose to those teams. The young guys believe Tennessee is in the "aight" category. We haven't dominated small teams or weaker P5 schools so the prospects don't see the change. And it's hard to argue with them right now. Unless we do better on the field we won't stop the bleeding.

Winning cures a lot with recruiting at UT. We start winning big games and we can get the recruit we want.

Of course Meyer contends for titles most years. They play 8-9 pure garbage teams every single yr. But as soon as that guy senses it's coming off the rails he will run right out of there.
