Is he a definite take? I know he's a legacy, but he seems very similar to the other TE's they've taken recently and they've all seemed to struggle to step up as the heir to Ethan Wolf. They really need to find a big-time TE in this class.
Does anybody know if Jacob Warren has lived in Tennessee all his life? I ask because he says that he grew up an Oregon fan. That's an awful long way from Eugene. That just shocks me if he did grow up in Tennessee & is a Duck fan.
I don't know of anybody personally that has lived in Tennessee all their life & is a Duck fan. I know some that are Gator or Crimson Tide fans along with a few Notre Dame & Virginia Tech fans but not Oregon. Man, I hope he doesn't go all way across the country to Eugene to play football. Thanks.
"I've always grown up a Vol fan," Warren said. "I have done some research and my dad played there. I really like how they are balanced like we are at Farragut. They use Ethan Wolf and they love to throw to the tight end. It's good to see they use tight ends."
Something doesn't add up for young Mr. Warren. And isn't he a legacy kid?
That's contradicting what other reports are saying. Oregon had always been his favorite college team/school growing up. Where did you get your quotes from Warren chris?
There's definitely something fishy going on because he's already been at a couple of UT practices. I don't think he's as big of an Oregon fan as it seems. Thanks.

"It was good," Warren said. "I could just see it all with what the coaches were saying. It's a program that you could easily buy into. It would be a comfortable program. I've seen everything around here. I like it."
"It is big and you could say it's quote/unquote a dream of mine," Warren said. "I've been around the program a lot. My dad played here and I've been to games. It's just cool to get that offer from the hometown school and have the opportunity to potentially represent my hometown."
"As a tight end, and as a high school tight end who has the chance to go to a school, it's promising," Warren said. "Just seeing that your tight ends coach is the OC. He's going to not throw you the ball. He has talked about how I can fit in well there and make some plays. "I spent a lot of time with coach Scott. We had a couple of meals together and walked around and talked about a lot."
Coming off a state championship, Warren will have plenty of eyes on him this Fall. He's well aware of the target and is constantly working to get better. "There is always room for improvement in everything," Warren said. "Just training hard and working to get bigger. Keep getting bigger, faster and stronger. I think my team will rely on me more to make those plays. That's when I'll make those plays and have the chance to shine."

Thanks chris. I could see him pulling for Oregon maybe as a child/teenager If he had a family/friend member going there but otherwise living in Tennessee all his life is pretty interesting.
He must like both teams. Maybe it's the Oregon colors that got him hooked on them or he likes Duck hunting one.lol:
