We don’t want the transfer rule to pass. It’s bad for college football. Players will be following their coaches if a coach leaves for greener pastures.
For example if Pruitt decides to go to Alabama I’d say half the roster goes with him. Not a fan.

If Pruitt goes to Alabama we had just won a few national championships

This doesn't really add up. The other school is still limited to 25 new scholarships per class, transfers included, so it's not possible.

I doubt they replace Saban with someone who has won championships. That would leave them with Orgeron, Dabo, or Jimbo Fisher.
I’d say it’s Cristobol but maybe Pruitt. I don’t think it will be Dabo. I wouldn’t leave Clemson to live in Alabama.

If we win a "few" national championships Pruitt ain't going anywhere. Lol. No coach in their right mind is leaving a program they've built into a dynasty. I laugh everytime Bama fans assume Dabo would ditch Clemson, a program he built into a dynasty for them whenever Saben retires. Delusional as hell.

Yea, because we own these young men for our athletic team entertainment. These players shouldn’t be able to make the choices they want because it might cause our team to suck. Go NCAA! We don’t believe in freedom of choice here in Merica!

Not exactly the same thing lol. They can still choose to transfer...

I don’t see how it’s bad for college football, plus it’s good for the players. Coaches leave all the time for greener pastures. The players have only 4-5 years to play college football, many of them to never play again. They should be able to make the most of it.

And there are roster limitations that would prevent a bunch of players following a coach. Coaches leave all the time and you don’t see mass exodus from rosters

If I was Dabo, I wouldn’t leave Clemson simply because I’d built my own dynasty at Clemson. What would be said if he went to Bama and didn’t fill Saban’s shoes to their expectations? Nope. Wouldn’t touch it.

That’s why in the end I think he’ll say no. They’ll be ready to fire him at the first sign of trouble.
