Yep. Even on Facebook posts from 247, vast majority of fans don't believe JG is very good.

Pruitt benched JG in our most recent game and benched him several other times throughout the year. I don't think that qualifies as "believing in JG." With our interest in JTD, I think it's pretty evident Pruitt is looking for an upgrade if we can find one.

Pruitt has a different approach to JG/QBs. He’s said many times he thinks it’s good for QBs to sit a series or two and then come back in.

It’s odd, different and something hopefully he only does with JG but he’s been clear JG is the guy he wants in the game at the end with the game on the line. I’d say that is “believing in him”

His choices were a true freshman with concussion issues, Shrout (who looked bad when given a chance), and JG. You act like Pruitt had great options to choose from.

There is a difference between believing in someone and having no other options. JG sucks but out of our qbs he gave us the best chance to win. He didn’t just let JG sit for a couple series..he benched him for 6 games. Maurer has spurts where he was good but was pretty bad most other times..shrout didn’t have it mentally.

The entire team doesn't have to show the "It" factor. If we had better QB play, we would have won at least two more games last year. All we need at the QB position is a game manager that doesn't turn the ball over and isn't a liability. I believe the rest will take care of itself.
