'19 CA QB JT Daniels (Georgia commit)

For some reason I thought it was supposed to be later this month that the NCAA was going to vote on whether to allow the 1 time transfer. I had the 20th in my mind but that’s right around the corner and no one is talking about so maybe not.
I have a hard time believing they won’t allow it with or without the vote, especially for transfers from California right now.

When did college football become a pro sport?

You really think that the spineless state of cal that flipped on this already is going to stop at this flip flop?
In case you do that is fine but many others disagree that are cover college athletics

I hope it can still happen in a timely way. From the time I heard about this I was for it if it meant that the locker room wouldn’t be disrupted or divided. If we are making a play for him, then I trust CJP,CTM and CJC will make the right call.

I’m for it because it’ll help Tennessee but I’m reserved because I don’t know if he’ll get a fair shot. If JG starts to slide and gets yanked would he get more than 1 or 2 series or would JG go rignt back in like last season?

I guess that would depend on how he did during those series.

Not sure if this is good or bad for us in general

Overall it’s good starting next year.
We will be able to cherry pick the great lesser school players when this does pass next season.
it at least hurts a little with this guy as it makes it more complicated to play this year

if it's us and LSU, how does it hurt us, but benefit LSU? if he can't play here, he can't play there....?

Where did I mention that it helps LSU?

I'm more inclined to think he just doesn't transfer now.

If I had to take a guess on why it hurts us, well we've got Salter/Bailey battling for the starting job in 2021. LSU's QB situation is much more fluid right now. I'd assume he would have a better shot at starting there. But, like I said, I never specifically mentioned it helps LSU. I think he'll end up staying at USC.

All depending on how Myles Brennan fares this season.

you didn't, i took it as an implication.....makes sense about not transferring more than anything else now. agreed.
