Ive narrowed it down to a few schools, the four-star recruit told 247Sports. My dad and I are talking about going somewhere on the 28th. Were still talking about it.
On OV to Wisky last month
Coach (Joe) Rudolph, he started in on what stands out about the Badgers. The coaching staff is good. All the linemen that are either getting drafted in past years and they have all those guys that have received Big Ten honors and all that stuff. Walking into the stadium, its packed with people. The people there are great. Everything about it.
NEB visit
Theyre bringing in a different rodeo with this staff, Benhart said. A lot more energy. Theyre bringing all that energy from UCF, the fast-paced offense. The one visit I had there with the coaching staff, I liked how their o-line coach does things, I like their schemes and everything. I like what Frost is like.
Benhart made his way down to Tennessee in April.
The new coaching staff that came in, Chris Weinke is from Minnesota and is a great guy, Will Friend, theyve all been together. Coach (Jeremy) Pruitt coming in from Alabama, he knows how to play Southern football. Theyve all known each other for a long time.
Ive never had a kid get the attention that hes got, Lakeville North coach Brian Vossen said. Weve certainly had some Division-I kids. mostly FCS. The way hes handled it like a humble wrestlers personality, I think hes just as comfortable being in the wrestling room where nobody knows whats going on as he is in the spotlight.
When youre special athletes that are talented are also one of your hardest working, you can find out whats possible with high school kids. Bryce has had a lot of attention but has continued to train hard and push himself as a leader. Bryce is going to be remembered for a long time at Lakeville North, but the way he worked will also be talked about. He earned his opportunities based on his effort. Hes an absolutely great kid and were excited for his senior year.
Benhart also remains in contact with the staff at Minnesota.
