19 students, 3 adults dead in Texas elementary shooting.

Hear me out. Rather than that, start over. All guns must be turned in. But, you can apply and go through a background check, show proof of insurance for the gun, demonstrate safe keeping, and you get your gun back.

Anyone keeping an unlicensed gun gets a minimum of 10 years in prison for each gun they retain illegally.

If only anyone that USED a gun illegally faced the same punishment...

Florida cops release MUGSHOT of Ten-year-old boy they cuffed and perp walked after he jokingly text a friend that he had bought four assault rifles

Florida police released the mugshot of the 10-year-old boy they publicly arrested and perp walked for allegedly threatening a mass shooting at his elementary school.

Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno, who touts himself as Florida's 'law and order sheriff,' defended publicly exposing the juvenile by saying 'a child pulling a trigger equals the same aftermath.'

Daniel Issac Marquez, 10, was arrested Saturday and charged with making a written threat to conduct a mass shooting after sending a text about Patriot Elementary School in Cape Coral.

Lee County Sheriff's Office released this mugshot of Daniel Marquez - who is just 10 years-old - after the youngster was charged with threatening to shoot-up a local school

Maybe a bit of an overreaction here? Where, exactly, would a 10-year old buy guns? Oh, forgot...Chicago.

Herein lies part of my issue with allowing kids...I don't know where you draw the age line...unrestricted and unsupervised access to the internet. Someone let this kid wander out into the Internet Jungle, and now he's the latest lesson in what happens when you let a kitten try to cross the interstate.

Perp-walk and Mugshot a bit over the top, IMO. Charged? Yes. Held in detention until a very thorough investigation and risk-assessment are completed? Yes. But let the court do its' job. This Sheriff appears to be grandstanding, and perp-walking a 10-year old don't get much cred of any kind with me.

Yes, this could be an early intervention of a future active shooter. But what if it's not? Back in my day, the Principal paddled that nonsense out of you, and then Dad took you downstairs with the belt right after dinner. Now, you get the full attention of the Sheriff's Office.

Wonder what changed between then and now.....

I'm not that old but I remember a kid in middle school calling the White House and saying he was going to blow it up. He thought it was funny. The next day there were about a dozen unmarked Chevy Caprices in front of the school. I'm pretty sure they charged him but I don't recall what came of it.

Also, concerning mental health, things changed when the government got involved in HOW we discipline our kids. You now go to jail for spanking your kid when back then you got slapped across the room if so much as asked “why?”. Back then those kids knew respect for authority because they were made to growing up. Now kids have to raise themselves because there is no one to show them right from wrong. So they created labels to attach to undisciplined kids and they blame it on the kids head when I’m fat it’s the lack of parenting in most cases. That’s just my opinion
For the most part I do agree with this.

Hear me out .. all attorneys shall have their license to practice revoked immediately. Any reapplication will come with a background check of all social media , friends , family and coworkers . If any applicant is found to be guilt of trying to undermine the constitution, they will be publicly flogged in the largest sports venue nearest to where the violation took place .

Well that sucks. Innocent people die when people don’t do the right thing. You had a psychopath in your community and no one pursued the problem.
Imagine what the parents of these kids are thinking when someone happily agrees to be interviewed and is like oh yeah we knew he was a nutbag who committed crimes but we didn't tell anyone.

ANOTHER Florida student is arrested on felony charges for posting pictures of himself online with what appeared to be a rifle and the caption: 'Hey Siri, directions to the nearest school'

  • Corey Anderson, 18, posted images of himself online with what appeared to be a handgun, a rifle, and a tactical style vest
An 18-year-old in Florida has been arrested and charged with a felony after he posted a photo of a rifle, handgun and tactical vest online and captioned the image: 'Hey Siri, directions to the nearest school'.

Corey Anderson, from Lutz, 15 miles north of Tampa, was arrested on Sunday after police were tipped off about the post.

The weapons were later discovered to be airsoft guns.

Anderson could face 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of making a threat of a mass shooting.

'This type of threat is unacceptable. This man intentionally instilled fear into our community as a sick joke, but be warned, this is no laughing matter,' said Sheriff Chad Chronister.

Bold move to ask people to hear you out and then say something completely idiotic.

The issue is far less about mental health, which is just a pointless buzzword for those who don't want to act on gun control. It's about the willingness to make guns as accessible as possible. What is happening now is a direct result of that callous, and money-lust attitude. Hopefully, all institutions (and voters with an oz of sense) will take up Steve's call and get the power hungry maggots out of office. Replace them with people who actually care about our citizens more than power and lining their pockets with dollars.

'Full of victims': Video appears to show Texas 911 dispatchers relaying information from children in classroom

Sickening. This proves that they absolutely knew it wasn’t a hostage situation. Those that that gave the orders to stand down and kept parents from trying to rescue their kids should be charged as accomplices in the shooting.

This isn't the first time gutless cops hid during an active shooting. Back the blue, eh? Come back Joe Friday, we really need you.

1. Judge: School officer who hid during shooting facing charges

2. Four sheriffs’ deputies hid during Florida school shooting

3.

Dont forget the cops that hid in the stairwell for 15 minutes while the Mandalay Bay shooter was killing 58 people. The worst mass shooting in the history of America.

Las Vegas police officer who hesitated during massacre is fired
