Beto was standing up for the victims! There is no way he was trying to get the attention on himself in the middle of a political campaign. A man who changed his Irish name to sound Hispanic would never pander to intelligent voters like yourself, after all you voted for a geriatric that has to be reminded where he is every 5 minutes.

I saw where Ted Cruz was harassed again recently.

I notice a correlation between the people who want to ban guns, are pro abortion up until birth, and also approve of harassing politicians in public.

Beto O'Rourke acted like a media whore, but ultimately, he did Abbott and the law enforcement officials who were present a favor.

It allows them to make O'Rourke's antics the focal point of that press conference, rather than the misinformation concerning the police response to the Robb Elementary School shooting, which was being relayed to the public. Abbott described the actions of Uvalde police on the scene as being heroic. That couldn't have been any further from the truth.

What’s being overlooked is that all these shooters are looking for infamy or notoriety. These are not someone angry with the children they assault. The shooter knows from history that use of an “assault “ weapon will get them maximum press, so what do they use? Then they also know that the media won’t vilify the shooter but the weapon.

And social media has given them a huge platform either directly or indirectly where nobody's think they can become somebody. Instant infamy. We'd never heard of this evildoer two weeks ago. Now most have.

Everyone talks brave until they are put in a position to act upon that bravery, no one knows how they will respond until they actually are given the chance. Policeman are not immune to this and as a leader you are going to defend your employees until you can no longer defend them.

  • Timothy McVeigh - 1995 Oklahoma City, Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bomber
  • Eric Rudolph - 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Centennial Park bomber.
  • Ted Kaczynski - "The Unabomber"
^^^^ All 3 of these men were definitely vilified by the media, and their crimes each received tons of coverage. ^^^^

Spree shooters choose their weapons based on what will be the most efficient method of achieving their objective.

Up to 19 officers were in the hallway outside the classroom but didn’t go inside, at the same time students were calling 911.
“We wanted to go in and save lives. It was the most frustrating situation of my entire career,” the officer told PEOPLE. “We felt like cowards.”

Felt like? They were cowards. They should all turn in their badges. Being a cop isn’t easy, and they clearly showed they aren’t up for the challenge when sh*t gets real.
