19 students, 3 adults dead in Texas elementary shooting.

Lots to think about, that's for sure. The anger and vitriol is getting worse, and the leaps in logic to explain how it's ok are getting more complicated.
.
The leap in logic is saying many people want to do harm to that community however some of what were seeing foisted upon people does seem to be like a pandemic when we've gotten to a place where you can be what you want and then forcing people to go along with it or else. Just make it up and give it new names. It's unprecedented in history. There appears to be a mental illness element because much of it is a social experiment. That used to be ok to acknowledge before the country seemed to be heading off the cliff.

You've made claims and proven none of them. More importantly those claims are irrelevant to my point. So why would I care?

What’s your point? Is it not that guns are the problem?

Also, I’ll gladly back any of those claims. I’ve posted information on all them before.

Regular open and extended conversations not related to work; voluntary social association outside of work, you'd leave your child alone with them without worry

Wth? You leave your child alone with people that you think have aligned values you want to enstill. I'm not sure sexual preference should be at the top of the list unless it's a value you think is important.

So basically what I’ve gathered from this thread is that no one has any idea or suggestions to stop any further gun violence?

There is no way to reach a middle ground. Why? Simple. There are way too many lawful gun owners who never commit a single act of violence with their weapons. But liberals want to make it harder for even those people to buy a gun. They want to blame the gun as opposed to gun owner/user.

I’m just driving by, been a long day and I just heard the news. I’ll save the outrage of another bunch of kids and teachers getting killed for another day.

It certainly doesn’t happen in other countries with the frequency it happens here. How do we fix it?

When you lose touch with reality you grab a gun. This is the basic problem rn. If you were not complete domestic terrorists with your rights, there would be no reason to delegate them. You can't handle yourselves as basic grown human beings. You have to go off the deep end armed.

You just stated that a person who believes in the second amendment is a domestic terrorist? Your post here is full of so much idiocy and conjecture it’s not even funny. You are trying to equate an extremely small percentage of people to the vast majority of gun owners. You are pathetic.

What's sad is there could not have been more than a few days left in the school year.

This is not a kneejerk reaction to me. I think we need armed personnel in every school in America. I'd rather have a couple of armed law enforcement than a dead kid.
I think I saw yesterday there were like 3 days left for those kids.

The unfortunate answer is we can’t fix it. Well I take that back there is one way, although it’s not 100%. But that way would encompass taking ALL guns out of circulation. Only the military and police would have them. So essentially living in an Orwellian society.

The fact is you can pass all the laws and legislation you want. But there will always be evil people who want to commit evil acts.

So… what you seem to be saying, and I promise not trying to play gotcha…despite the fact that lots of other countries don’t have the frequency of this problem, there’s nothing we can do?

Get rid of democrats........

Im all seriousness we need to fix the broken parts of society. End the war on drugs etc that lead to putting people farther into poverty. Get father figures back in homes, quit glorifying these shooters by blasting their names all over the news for weeks. The left will scream guns, guns, guns, but that isnt even part of the problem take away their guns, and theyll use a car, ban cars and theyll use a tool, ban tools theyll use a kitchen knife etc.... Its a people problem.

I’m cool with getting rid of democrats, republicans, whatever. That doesn’t stop our kids from getting killed or worried about getting killed at school. Again, it doesn’t happen in other countries with the frequency it happens here. How do we fix it?

I'm sure kindergarten teachers are just dying to play Rambo. Like a bunch of 25 year old women who enjoy teaching little kids want to go to the gun range after work. After buying all their school supplies they want to go spend even more money they dont have on ammo. That's seriously the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Or maybe we should hire you to teach lol.

You believe he’s saying we should force all teachers to carry guns? Or just allow the ones who wish to carry a gun?

I’ve never taught at a school where I was the only veteran
